Here is a nice 1 owner Jaguar XKE E-Type Convertible for sale. The car has been garage kept since new. The current owners drove it out of the showroom May 1969.

UPDATE SEPTEMBER 3 2023: The Nation's Capital Jaguar Owners Club went over the car and got it running and made a few short rides/drives in it. The owner/seller has an appointment in early October 2023 with Vintage Restorations in Union Bridge Maryland. The owner/seller is having a prebuy inspection completed and all of the fluids flushed/changed. The results of this inspection will be posted here.

The leather interior was redone by Vintage Restorations in Union Bridge Maryland.

July 17 2023. Here are some notes from the people that have been working on the car:
The E starts well, runs well, holds a Normal temp, took it up to 3,000 RPM OK, holds a smooth idle at 700RPM. It's ready to be driven to Master Auto.
A few notes:
1) Jim & I bled the clutch slave cylinder of its dirty fluid; fluid now clean and clutch feels normal.
2) Replaced a seal on the leaking glass fuel bowl just before the carbs; now no leak.
3) On the prior visit, I spent time trying to figure out the 2 panels fitted on the right side. The obvious still escaped me after too much time, so those panels plus the air cleaner need to be installed at Master. Be sure to take the small bunch of screws from the magnetic tray along to Paul @ Master-.
4) I also ran out of time to put in the small panel plus padding in passenger foot well; Paul can do those routine reassemblies.
5) The brakes were a little sticky at first, better when warmed up, need to bleed the brake system. Also, Paul may need to replace the flexible portions of the brake lines. (The interior of those brake lines tend to collapse after prolonged sitting.
