Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum - last updated October 5 2026

The Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum is located in St. Michaels, Maryland, United States and is home to a collection of Chesapeake Bay artifacts, exhibitions, and vessels. This 18-acre interactive museum was founded in 1965 on Navy Point, once a site of seafood packing houses, docks, and work boats.

Cardboard boat races from October 2026




Here's a YouTube video of a cardboard boat race from the 2026 Mid-Atlantic Small Craft Festival. The kids made boats out of cardboard and duct tape and then they had to race them on the water over a small course.
