The legendary Curtiss V-8 Motorcycle

Glenn Curtiss:
He was an avid sportsman and a bicycle racing champion by 1897.
In 1898 he opened his own bicycle shop and sold his own brand of bicycles called Hercules. He had locations in Hammondsport & Bath.
In 1899 he was experimenting with Thomas engines and by 1900, he built his first motorcycle with his uncle Frank Neff.
By 1902 he introduced his first motorcycle called the Hercules.
In 1903 he debuted the first American V-Twin engine under the name Hercules.
