In the mid 1930s Morgan was one of the leaders in the three wheel vehicle market. As early as 1919 the Castle Motor Company was the first to make a serious attempt to rival the Morgan with their Castle Three. The Castle Motor Company was in Kidderminster, Worcestershire. The other were BSA, Coventry Victor, J.M.B., and Raleigh.

The Triking or TriKing is another three wheel cycle car currently available in the UK. You can order a factory built or it is also available in kit form. Visit their site at http://trikingsportscars.co.uk/ - see below for a clickable link to the site.

Robert W. Kearns was the inventor of the intermittent windshield wiper. He tried to sell it to the big three auto makers however none were interested. They did copy his idea and Kearns had to sue them. There is an interesting article online about him, his invention, and lawsuits with the auto makers.

Detailed Information
Detailed Description
The Morgan Motor Company is a British motor car manufacturer. The company was founded in 1910 by Harry Frederick Stanley Morgan, generally known as "HFS" and was run by him until he died, aged 77, in 1959. H.F.S. Morgan's first car design was a single-seat three-wheeled runabout, which was fabricated for his personal use in 1909. Interest in his runabout led him to patent his design and begin production. One report states that there was nearly 40,000 Morgan three wheelers built between the years 1910 to 1952 and it is estimated that only about 2000 have survived.
