Narrative: AIRCRAFT LANDED ON RWY 8 AT CLM AND VEERED OFF TO THE LEFT INTO THE
GRASS. THREE ON BOARD, NO INJURIES. NOSE GEAR PISTON ASSEMBLY BENT 45 DEGREES TO THE LEFT, PROPELLER DAMAGE, AND DAMAGE TO R/H WING TIP. RUDDER PEDALS, STEERING LINKAGE, SHIMMY DAMPER, AND NOSE WHEEL WERE INTACT. NO EVIDENCE OF MECHANICAL FAILURE AT THIS TIME.
After the incident, inspection of the engine was preformed by Penn Yan Aero on 8/21/98 and was reinstalled on N5805W.
Description:
N5850W was operated as an aircraft in a flight school environment at Northway Aviation, Inc. from 1994 to 2014. N5850W was used as a VFR/IFR trainer and a rental aircraft at Northway. The engine in N5850W is beyond Lycoming’s recommended hour, and calendar month overhaul. N5850W starts and runs but needs a new carburetor in order for it to stay running smoothly. N5850W has complete logbooks from day one to present time. There is no indication of missing logbooks for the aircraft. N5850W is currently out of annual, and is no longer needed at Northway Aviation. N5850W would make for a good project or parts aircraft. Being sold As-Is.

1997 plans built Pietenpol Air Camper. This is the longer fuselage. Running an EA-81 engine with dual carbs. Three piece wing with 15 gallons of fuel in the center wing section. Just finished up a restoration and recover of the fuselage last year. Flies very well and is a blast to fly. Sadly I am 2,500 miles away from where the plane is hangared and just feel like someone else should be able to enjoy the plane. Much more information is available if you are seriously interested. 325 hours on the hobbs since new. Brand new prop, cockpit covers, windshields, fuselage fabric and much more. Only needs the cockpit coaming laced up and has been flown very recently. Front cockpit panel has no instruments but has a really cool laser etched panel.
Aircraft is hangared in western Utah. May consider partial trades for a Kolb Ultrastar or other interesting ultralight or Kitfox/Avid type with folding wings. Thanks |

I've got a '72 Grumman AA1A that's in danger of becoming abandoned. It's in Annapolis (KANP) and has been sitting for the past year and a half (last flight was on 14JUN16), as such the annual has since lapsed. I’ve posted it on a Facebook page for aircraft that have had their annuals lapse and are sitting, and have had some people who say they’re interested, but fall through.
It's a good flying plane, has decent radios/instruments (dual KX155s w/ GS that light up well without dead pixels, ILS, mode-c transponder, and a fuel totalizer. Was IFR certified before annual ran out), a low time (~400 hrs since overhaul) 150hp Lycoming O-320 (with STC), new main tires (1 has been installed, the other is sitting in the cockpit waiting to be installed), new alternator, and canopy cover/cowl plugs. It also has the auxiliary fuel tank STC, as well as the mo-gas, remote oil filter, dorsal fin STC, and split cowl STC.
I graduated from USNA in 2016 and moved away from Annapolis, so the plane has sort of fallen through the cracks. The plane had previously sat from '98 to around '08, and somewhere in that time frame the original books were lost. (SEE LINK TO LOGBOOK PICTURES BELOW) I've got books from around '08 on it, and the title history back to '72. It has flown regularly between '08 and '16.
I don't want this plane to end up sitting for another decade without flying again, and would like to see it sold off to someone who wants a cheap, descent flying plane. She isn’t the prettiest (she has the original paint that’s had some touch ups from time to time), and the battery is probably dead from sitting, but she’s a workhorse.
That’s why it’s priced to move at $15k. I’m tired of paying for tie down fees, insurance, etc on it, and trying to organize an annual from half a country away. First person with a solid cash offer gets her. |

I have a 1940 Taylorcraft BL-65 for sale. This is a great project for someone that wants a cheap taildragger to fly locally. Have it done in time for spring flying. I bought it as a project this last spring and realized I just don’t have the time to put into it. It does have an AW certificate and Registration but no log books. That is why it is so cheap. It does need some TLC and an annual to start new log books. It did fly but now has the wings and tail off for transport. I can deliver it in an enclosed trailer for expenses. I an coming down to the SE part of the US in early January.
In has new Polyfiber on it but has a few patches from hangar rash. The engine runs well and reportedly was overhauled less than 50 hrs ago but again no logs. I would have flipped it after fixing it up but then it would have been too expensive to sell.

I'm an AACA Chapter Secretary selling this for a fellow-club member in declining health. This has been his "keeper" since the 80's and is perhaps one of the best highly restored examples in the country. Those who may know the car believe it may be in the top 2 or 3 in the country, but the modest owner said "maybe in top 5" allowing for undiscovered examples. This has 55k actual miles.
I should note the owner undertook a methodic almost scientific restoration of this car with strict adherance to GM-only parts save for a few examples where safety is a factor. Restored with NEW GM ONLY N.O.S. parts when they were still available over the counter, this restoration was done to rival the #1 Pace Car in details, fit, finish & quality--------------Literally a museum piece for it's quality begging to be owned, shared and driven for posterity to enjoy.
There were 100 Pace Cars that actually toured the Indianapolis Speedway in '67 for its debut, and other afficianado collectors have determined sequentially this is probably #80 or #81. The only item NOT available for this stunning example is the protect-o-plate (wasn't with the car when the current owner bought it).
Owner is well known for his high end cars. Immaculate survivor-quality feel for it's detailed restoration (almost a work of art frankly).
Car runs, drives, looks as it should. It is NOT a replica. I believe it may have its Senior badge-----but not 100% certain on that. The owner is getting his affairs in order and downsizing his collection so this is one hell of a car to acquire------------maybe even the standard by which others are judged respectfully. Certain to be the jewel of any collection.
Price has been reduced from $140k last year in the spirit of a timely sale. Don't miss this golden egg. Optioned 100% correct just as it was born with small block 350, no AC, Automatic Trans etc. |

ebay sale December 22 2017. Up for sale is my 1984 Honda Gyro NN50. This was the first year for the Gyro, and am told is very rare due to limited production. Came in only blue and red. Everything on this scooter is fully functional Comes with rare windshield. The horn does work! , 49cc two stroke engine with 2 speed automatic transmission, and electric start. New battery. Seat is in perfect condition. Some plastic fade, but still very nice for almost 30 years old. Will need some carb work. Comes with one key. Titled.
