Our Market Watch section is an online searchable database and it is smart phone friendly. It was set up as a database for vehicle price data; however we have added other collectibles as well. For example, under “Make” you can search for Paul McCartney for price data related to Paul McCartney collectibles. You can also use the database to see what celebrity ownership of a vehicle does to the value. For example, under “Model” search for Trans Am, click here to view the results. You can also search the Market Watch for famous/well know collections that have sold, for example, here is the data for the Bruce Weiner Microcar Auction. And here is the data for the Lee Roy Hartung collection that sold years ago. We have also included price data from TV shows such as Jay Lenos Garage, American Pickers, and others, simply search under “Make” for Jay Lenos Garage and click on search. The database allows you to compare asking price, book value, actual sale price, etc. You can also view offers versus sale price. Click here to view offers versus sale price. The database includes aircraft, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, collectibles, avionics, engines, car parts, aircraft parts, and more.

John Lennon |
Phantom V Limousine |
1965 |
$2,229,000 |
Imagine there’s no...eh, it’s got it all. It, being the Rolls-Royce originally owned by Beatle John Lennon, which sold at auction for $2,229,000 on this day in 1985. Lennon purchased the Rolls-Royce Phantom V Limousine at age 25, making it the second car he ever purchased, the first being a 1965 Ferrari 330 GT just six months earlier. As luxurious as the Rolls was, it just didn’t suit his taste, and Lennon soon had his way with it. He converted the rear seat into a bed, tinted the windows, and added a TV, telephone, refrigerator and a custom sound system. Of course, the original black paint simply wouldn’t do either. Inspired by a psychedelically themed camper he purchased for his garden, he hired the gypsies who hand painted the camper to give his car the same treatment.
The Rolls-Royce served as a primary means of transport for the Beatles between 1966 and 1969. Lennon shipped it to the US in 1970 when he moved to New York. From there he would rent the car out to other big names, including Moody Blues, Bob Dylan and The Rolling Stones.
In 1977 Lennon ran into a bit of trouble with the Internal Revenue Service and donated the vehicle to the Smithsonian Institute for $225,000 in tax credit. It was displayed for a few years at the Cooper-Hewitt Museum until it was placed in storage, as the museum could not afford the insurance required for full-time viewing. This led to it being auctioned by Sotheby’s on June 29, 1985, with a listed catalog value of $300,000.
When the hammer dropped it crossed the block for an astonishing $2,229,000. Jim Pattison was the winning bidder. He purchased the vehicle to show it at his Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum in South Carolina. Two years later he gifted the vehicle to the Government of British Columbia, Canada. It is now on display at the Royal British Columbia Museum in Victoria, B.C.

Schwinn stamped no date 65 bars

Serial number is missing first letter but there is something faint, maybe H
It by no means mint but it is what it is. Someone had a heavy hand in cleaning the chrome at some point so there is a lot of scratches and dulling. I spent a lot of time polishing and got it pretty good. The wheels have been cleaned lightly but have not been detailed or polished. The front wheel doesn’t have the scuffing like the rest of the chrome but does have some larger pitting. Fenders have some small dings. Still a nice ride, just want to be upfront about its condition. |

Rare they only made these from 1937-1941. Flat head inline six Manuel transmission you will be amazed at the condition it’s in. A nice barn find. Motor was rebuilt a little over 10 years ago but needs carburetor work to run. Purchased this from the second owner who purchased it when he was 14 in Kansas he’s 62 now! Was converted to 12v but still have the 6v lights. Will be arriving to my place in Carrollton first of July. No low ballers I know what I have and how rare it is being a Plymouth and not a Dodge. |

Mostly original (including engine) runs, drives, needs almost nothing. Don’t know a lot about these so I can’t tell you what’s original and what’s not. 12v conversation, hand crank and I believe factory electric starter on floor, solid wood floor, small glass bubble in back, Lots of imperfections (scratches, chips, etc but very minimal rust) but solid body, fenders, etc. Has original ford stamped tools included. Doors open/shit like a brand new car! Will answer any questions but is stored away so if you’re going to come look at it bring a trailer so I know you aren’t wasting my time. Want it to go to someone that will use/appreciate it for what it is. I’ve had 3 years and just sits in barn. Harry's note - this is a 4 door model. |

I have this 1974 Honda CB750 up for consideration. This bike was on the road approximately 7 years ago and the owner just parked it in his garage. The carbs will need to be cleaned and brakes gone through. I have a gel battery in it and it turns over. There is minor surface rust here and there and the pipes are in great shape with one noticeable patched spot on the top left pipe. This is a Georgia bike thus a no title state for bikes pre-75. I have the current registration from the previous owner and a bill of sale. That’s all that is needed to get a title. This is a good example and would make a great bike with little effort. |

D4 Express |
1916 |
$29,900 |
Asking price seen on Hemmings June 20 2018. 1916 BUICK D4 EXPRESS TRUCK. This vehicle is so rare it’s probably the only one you’ll ever see. The only other one we have ever heard rumor of is said to exist somewhere in the Western US. The truck is 99% original except for its paint. No metal rust, no wood rot – ever. It has never been “restored”. It is mechanically excellent, and cosmetically very good. Its entire 102 year history is known, and documents of proof accompany the vehicle. Little has been done in all these years to alter the originality of this survivor. Even some “original 1916 dirt” is still on the frame. This Buick D4 truck was bought new by Schmeuser Buick in Hammond, Indiana in 1916 and it was put to work for several years in their service and parts department. It was probably retired to the back of their shop around 1930, where it remained until 1951 when it was facelifted to be rolled through the Hammond Centennial parade. It was finally purchased from Schmeuser Buick by its first private owner in Zeeland, Michigan sometime around 1965. We have had a custom replica bracket cast for remounting the spare tire on the left side as you see in the factory photo. It is ready to go and just needs to be installed. The engine was freshened internally about 6 years ago or so, and the truck was put in storage about 3 years ago while running just fine. It’s never been restored – just overcoated with paint in 1951. The engine was professionally dismantled and rebuilt and it runs like a clock. The lights need some work to be made operational again, but otherwise everything about the truck functions well. |

$1,000 |
A March 2016 asking price seen online. I lost my SR20 to a flood last year and no longer need my NOSE-DRAGGER electric tug.
This is set up for a Cirrus. I removed some of the upright bars so that the wheel pant can't be damaged if the tire over-rides the roller.
The battery box contains two Sears Gold DieHard U1R 340cca batteries. Between uses they have been kept connected to Schumacher SEM-1562A battery maintainers. The chargers are also included.
The batteries are in very good condition and hold a full charge, although they are several years old. During non-use the batteries have been stored in my house (temperature controlled) not in the hangar.
The tug was briefly under water during the flood last year. It was immediately cleaned and dried. It is fully functional. The batteries were not at the airport during the flood and have no water damage.
The tug had no trouble in moving my SR20, although my hangar only has a very minor grade from the ramp.
The tug is located at the Taylor, TX airport (T74).
Asking $1000. Pick up only. |

An ebay buy it now price seen online June 11 2018. Heald trike that needs restored. Has original 11hp Briggs with electric start. I was told the engine ran but may need carb cleaned. At minimum needs battery, tires, the wood seat panels and maybe belly for torque converter. It’s solid and very good candidate to restore or just clean up and get going. |

1968 NAF AC Shelby Cobra
$45,000
Farmington, MO
My husband and myself are looking to sell our 1968 replica. This beautiful car is not a kit car and was built by North American Fiberglass (NAF). This makes for a hassle free experience with insurance or titling because it is titled as a 1968 Cobra. The car has an aluminum headed 427FE engine mated to a Ford top loader 4 speed transmission with a 9” Ford rear axle. This Cobra barely has over 3000 miles on it. The paint on this car is immaculate!!!! It runs and drives amazing as well. The car has been very enjoyable with all the power you could ever want with just the push of a pedal. My husband and myself have enjoyed many trips in this beautiful car but it is time for someone else to enjoy it. The previous owner added some modern updates by installing a radio and msd ignition. Unfortunately no test drives until money is in my hand! If you are serious we will take you for a ride. Pictures just don’t do this car justice it truly is a beautiful vehicle. |
