Our Market Watch section is an online searchable database and it is smart phone friendly. It was set up as a database for vehicle price data; however we have added other collectibles as well. For example, under “Make” you can search for Paul McCartney for price data related to Paul McCartney collectibles. You can also use the database to see what celebrity ownership of a vehicle does to the value. For example, under “Model” search for Trans Am, click here to view the results. You can also search the Market Watch for famous/well know collections that have sold, for example, here is the data for the Bruce Weiner Microcar Auction. And here is the data for the Lee Roy Hartung collection that sold years ago. We have also included price data from TV shows such as Jay Lenos Garage, American Pickers, and others, simply search under “Make” for Jay Lenos Garage and click on search.  The database allows you to compare asking price, book value, actual sale price, etc.  You can also view offers versus sale price.  Click here to view offers versus sale price.  The database includes aircraft, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, collectibles, avionics, engines, car parts, aircraft parts, and more.

Peel 50 1963 $175,000 A sale price seen on Hemmings. The post read - In March of 2016 a restored P50 sold for a fee inclusive $175,000.
Peel 50 1964 $75,000 Asking price seen on Hemmings September 18 2018. Family owned vehicle bought in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada in 1968. Dad saw it in the window of a shipyard supply store on the way home from work and was told by the business owner that the crew of a Russian fishing vessel used the Peel to get around on the ship’s deck. The ship needed a new refrigeration unit and traded the Peel in for one while in port. So instead of groceries Dad came home with the Peel. Every Peel was hand built and some what tailor made. You’ll notice this one features additional exterior indicatior lighting and different interior seat. It was enjoyed for years by us children and last driven in June 2002 by the grand kids. In 1974 the roof was cut off to create a convertible to fit the growing children and has since been reattached. The vehicle is in a project state. The engine turns over easily but the sliding windows are missing along with the top of the door frame that was misplaced when it was made into a convertible. Everything is original aside from that. A restoration project was under way but was derailed before it started when Dad passed away. We priced out replacement parts last year and assemble them to be shipped from England prior to the project starting but that’s as far as we got. From our research there are 26 known original P50’s in existence and this one would make 27 as it remained in obscurity for all these years. One of the last examples of the smallest and rarest production vehicles made.

Gary Cooper SSJ 1935 $22,000,000 A sale price seen on Facebook September 12 2018. Ex Gary Cooper 1935 Duesenberg SSJ: America’s most significant car becomes the most expensive as well – sold for $22M. This year’s Gooding & Company Auction during Monterey week saw a new world record. Most likely America’s most significant car ever built was sold for $22 million. CARCULTURE.TV’s own automotive legend Ed Fallon had a chance to speak to top Duesenberg expert and restorer Brian Joseph of Classic & Exotic Service, about the Ex Gary Cooper 1935 SSJ - just prior to the auction that yielded this spectacular result. This Duesenberg is unrestored and well-preserved, which adds incredible value. It is one of only two. The other one was built for Clark Gable. After Cooper’s ownership the car went through several famous owners including collector D. Cameron Peck, who at that time owned Gable’s SSJ as well. Later he passed the car on to Briggs Cunningham, who souped up the 7 liter engine to 400 HP. Finally, the Cunningham car collection was sold to Miles Collier in 1986 (32 years ago) including this fabulous automobile. Now the Duesenberg was sold to raise money for Miles Collier’s Revs Institute to launch Revs 2.0. The Revs Institute has been called America’s best car museum by ‘Road and Track’. Miles’ goal is to “take the Revs mission out to the world,” he says, to broaden understanding of the automobile’s sweeping impact on the 20th Century at a time when electric, connected and driverless cars promise another sea-change in the 21st. "We plan to educate, energize and enlist car lovers, men and women, in discovering the world of the automobile past, present and future.” The Revs Institute’s website states: “Among the new initiatives to fund this mission are a nationwide chain of collector-car storage garages where enthusiasts can park and care for their prized possessions, a new online magazine celebrating great automobiles — past, present and future — and the people and events that define car-culture and lifestyle, and other businesses whose profits will fund the non-profit Revs Institute’s various programs.”
