An ebay buy it now price seen online November 15 2018. Type of aircraft it is from was unknown, year unknown. I believe this very aerodynamic tank to be from a WW II military airplane of some sort. This drop tank measures about 30 inches in diameter by about 124 inches long.
If one places the attaching point that was originally at the top of this tank at the bottom, then the right side is in fairly good condition except for a few bullet exit holes. The other or left side sustained some serious damage when this tank hit the ground about 70 years ago. I believe the two halves of this tank may need to be separated in order to work out and repair that damage.
There is a 1-1/4" internal pipe thread at the back of this tank that you can see in the photo that is a rear view. I have no idea what this threaded hole may have been used for originally. |

This car was a 340 four speed from the factory, there is no engine or transmission now. The car was raced most of its life in central California. It was made into a drag car in approximately 1977 and raced until the late 1980's. The car is gutted with no dash. Luckily the builder had the insite to attach the vin plate to the inner fender well for licensing purposes. There is a 1977 California title, vin plate, door vin sticker, and core suppport and trunk numbers. There is no fender tag. The car was factory Sassy Grass Green as can be seen in the pictures. It has boxed spring hangers and the 340-only washer still on the k-frame. The factory disc brakes are still on it and there is an 8 3/4 rear end in the car. The clutch pedal portion of the assembly was removed but the 4 speed brake pedal remains. The cars rear out side inner fenderwells were opened up for slicks. The hood and decklid are in need of replacement due to rodent nests in them that ate holes. The car has some rust, but lots of it is just scale rust. I was able to obtain bits and pieces of its history through the internet but have no film footage of its race days. It was found stored in a garage in Portland, Oregon where it had been for several years since being purchased from the Bakersfield area. The car appeared briefly in an episode of the internet show Roadkill. The car rolls and steers. It goes as pictured without the hood scoop. $3200.00 CASH, OBO. Located near Portland, Oregon. |

It runs but not like it should. The bike was stored for over 20 years. I cleaned the carb, put fresh gas in it, changed the oil. It starts easy enough , runs at low RPM ok but bogs when you give it more throttle. The clutch works like it should. It still has the original grips, side panels, front number plate and fender, and side panels. The seat was recovered at one time. The rear fender is not original. Gas tank is in nice shape. The exhaust pipe has been welded in a few places. Silencer is very nice. |

This velocipede is completely un-restored and has remained in as-used condition showing some paint loss on the seat and paint wear around the trunk box and moving components. Setting aside that the outrigger was assembled with the wheel flange to the outside, all the components are present and accounted for with the loose hardware being for items disassembled for easier storage. Original wood spoked wheels and metal flanged tires in excellent condition. Geared mechanism functions and is complete. With the possible exception of the wood connecting rods that would need to be replaced to allow reliable operation, this remarkable piece of 19th Century motive power is as excellent of original condition as can be found today. A true survivor and historic artifact of western railroad hardware. Dimensions are 39 1/2" tall, 77 1/2" long, 14"x 16" seat, and trunk box is 14" x 22" in length. Local pick-up is preferred however it can be delivered at cost anywhere on the west coast, or shipped at cost if desired. Selling a 1960 Focke Wulf/Piaggio P149D project. This airplanes primary use was a trainer and leisure aircraft post WWII in Germany. This project is very complete and well kept, it will make a fine airplane. This is a 4 place, low wing, aerobatic aircraft. From a first glance it appears to be a Navion, but is a much different aircraft. Retractable tricycle landing gear, flaps, constant speed propellor. Agile handling characteristics with comparable speeds to an early bonanza.
Engine: Lycoming GO-480. Engine core provided with project with exhaust, augmenter tubes, freshly overhauled pressure carb, and other accessories with engine. Unknown time on engine
Prop: 3 blades propellor for the lycoming GO-480 engine. Prop logbook appears to be from a commander powered by the lycoming go-480 motor.
Aircraft: painted yellow with black stripe over cowl. No obvious sheet metal damage, no widespread corrosion. Just about everything needed to complete aircraft project is provided. Interior seats are complete, plexiglass for canopy and windshield will likely need to be replaced but LP Aero has the templates. Some of the plexiglass is new and unwrapped. Many extra accessories included. New Cleavland wheels in box. Many service manuals and parts manuals included. Airframe time unknown. Known missing items is avionics and instrumentation. Great candidate for a G3X or other experiential EFIS.
This project would make for a very unique aircraft that will turn heads at any airport. Great for loading up the family and going on a long X/C due to the ample baggage space, or having fun doing Sunday afternoon aerobatics. This is a very capable aircraft. Located in Columbia, SC.
