Our Market Watch section is an online searchable database and it is smart phone friendly. It was set up as a database for vehicle price data; however we have added other collectibles as well. For example, under “Make” you can search for Paul McCartney for price data related to Paul McCartney collectibles. You can also use the database to see what celebrity ownership of a vehicle does to the value. For example, under “Model” search for Trans Am, click here to view the results. You can also search the Market Watch for famous/well know collections that have sold, for example, here is the data for the Bruce Weiner Microcar Auction. And here is the data for the Lee Roy Hartung collection that sold years ago. We have also included price data from TV shows such as Jay Lenos Garage, American Pickers, and others, simply search under “Make” for Jay Lenos Garage and click on search. The database allows you to compare asking price, book value, actual sale price, etc. You can also view offers versus sale price. Click here to view offers versus sale price. The database includes aircraft, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, collectibles, avionics, engines, car parts, aircraft parts, and more.

1930 Chevrolet Universal for sale
My wife and I purchased this Chevy from the daughter of the original owner. He bought the car in 1930 and drove it til 1967. She said they had a big family and just couldn’t afford another car. It has been very well taken care of it’s whole life and it shows due to how well it runs, drives and how solid the car is.
We wanted something to go on cruises with, and have driven it over the past year. It runs down the road fine, will even do 55mph but that’s faster than the brakes like to go. We have a good deal of documentation dating all the way back to the original owner, as well as service records. It has a spare set of wheels and rims, and the seats have the original seat covers. |

Cushman |
Package Kar |
1946 |
$2,250 |
An ebay auction that ended April 17 2019. Starting bid was $2,250.00, it got 0 bids. 1946 Cushman Stake Body Kar 90%+ original. I have rebuilt carb and replaced light wiring other than that it's original. Has newer tire on back fronts little weathered. All lights work (generator works and original) runs and drives. Top speed is 25 mph. 2 speed forward and reverse. Only thing may consider upgrading is clutch but still works now. Only reason selling is because I wanted to use it for a vending cart but feel bad to cut and chop something so vintage. Has clean and clear title.
Story of this Cushman. This Cushman was owned by a man in his 90's. He and his wife were just married and had one vehicle and she worked in town and would drop him off work. Because his boss wanted him working more he would have to walk home late nights, so his boss offered this Cushman for him to use for transportation. He used it for 2 years until they could save enough money for second car and he ended up buying the Cushman from his boss to use on his farm. Has original plate from 1956 when it was last street driven (other than he used it in local parades). It was basically one owner and had been parked for 8 years before I bought it. Thing started right up even before carb rebuilt. It has a Ford V8 emblem on back because he put it there, Cushman lasted longer than auto he bought. Because it was important to him I left it there. I would keep it but I just feel someone else could appreciate it more than me. Otherwise I would have to alter it. |

Model 85 Scooter with Sidecar |
1949 |
$17,000 |
An ebay auction that ended April 22 2019. Starting bid was $17,000.00 USD, it got 0 bids. Vintage Rare 1949 Salsbury Model 85 Scooter with Sidecar. This is the Holy Grail of vintage motor scooters, a 1949 Salsbury 85 automatic motor scooter with a sidecar. I entered it in the first Motor scooter International Land Speed Federation Race in 2010 on old Route 66. You can go to Facebook, Team Laurito Racing and see the scooter in action. It is estimated that there are only 3 actual sidecars known to still exist, this side car has a registration plate on it.This is not a restored scooter it is pretty much as it was in 1956 as you can see in one of the pictures. Some scratches, dents the speedometer needle is broken, the lights dont work and the tail light is missing. It had a spare tire mounted on the back when I bought it but I used the tire on the sidecar, I have the side rails, couldn’t install with sidecar attached to the scooter. There is also a picture of Dennis Sexson's restored Salsbury with sidecar that sold for 28.600 at auction this month., the dimensions for his sidecar were taken from mine. Also a picture of a red Salsbury with sidecar that sold for 10K at the Mid American Auctions in Las Vegas in 2007. It is the only side car I have seen with a factory plate #K28 on the side of the sidecar besides mine. Please look closely at the pictures. I can provide more pictures, let me know. This Salsbury has history and can be traced back. This Salsbury was entered in a Scanction Racing Event and is the Current Record Holder in the 300 cc Sidecar Class at the Motor Scooter International Land Speed Federation Race in 2010. This scooter is titled in the state of Ohio and it’s clean. This is a pick up or I will assist in helping transport it. PayPal only, and no returns. On bid closing the buyer must deposit 500 in my PayPal account within 24 hours. Thanks |

Doodle Bug |
1946 |
$1,800 |
An ebay sale April 22 2019. 1946 Hiawatha Doodle Bug. Licensed for the Street. Clear Title. Ad read as follows: This Doodle Bug was put together by my late son and registered in my name 8 or 10 years ago. It is part of his estate and I must sell it as there is now no storage room for it. The scooter does not have the correct engine, I understand that the originals had a kick starter. I took off the sheet metal so pictures could be taken of the innards. The centrifugal clutch [photo 8] is not stock as is the band brake around the outside of it. He installed the battery [photo 6] so that it would have lights and brake light. I believe the fuel tank is correct with the shut-off on top the tank. The 11th photo shows the "Collector" license plate. It's licensed for use on public roads; he tried to get it licensed for the street and failed, I later went down there and was more assertive and got it done in my name. The title is 100% clear [photo 12]. The VIN [serial] number is 10897. |

I’ve decided to sell my ‘66 Honda CA77 Dream 305cc Motorcycle. It has 5007 original miles and clean PA title in my name ready to transfer. I am asking $2500 (obo).
The bike has recently been gone over and it runs great. The tank was cleaned and flushed, new fuel lines/filters, carb ultrasonically cleaned and rebuilt, petcock rebuilt, new battery, UNI air filter (original included), points cleaned and set, fresh oil. Tires have nice tread but are older. Seat has no tears. All lights and indicators work. The bike starts right up and idles nicely. No leaks or funny noises.
Cosmetically the red paint looks pretty good overall but it has some wear throughout. Chrome bits have some rust that can be cleaned up. Both pipes have patches underneath, top of tank has blemishes but is solid with no dents.
I’m asking $2500 (obo). |

Mud Bug |
1974 |
$750 |
This was advertised as a Columbia MTD Mud Bug. The Columbia part was most likely a mistake. An asking price on Craigslist April 2015. A quirky, rare 3 wheeler, the “Mud Bug” was made by MTD, a company known more for producing lawn mowers. Powered by Briggs & Stratton motors varying between 5-8 horsepower, they were designed to be fun toys that could be transported in a station wagon, back when people actually bought station wagons. This example is claimed to be in very good condition with original paint, a Comet clutch, new seat, and a functioning pull start. |

Courier |
1974 |
$6,201 |
ebay sale March 3 2019. This truck has spent the majority of its life at the beach house only used for trips to the hardware store. In other words this Courier has sat for the better part of its 45 year old life. It is a very original truck with original paint. It was imported from Japan and sold new in Hayward,CA and has spent its life on the coast of northern California. In 1971, Ford entered in to a partnership with Mazda to import their B-Series trucks in to the United States as a response to the unforseen popularity of the small Toyota and Nissan/Datsun pickups. This resulted in Ford having a 7% stake in Mazda (Ford acquired a 24.5% stake in 1979). Prior to this, Ford had used the name ‘Courier’ on its 1952-1960 sedan delivery variants of Ford’s US mainstream passenger vehicles. Ford imported the new Couriers for the 1972 model year. Like the other minipickups of the time, it featured a sub-2-liter, four-cylinder engine, a four-speed manual transmission, rear-wheel drive, an impressive load capability of 1,400 lb (635 kg) considering its size, and a fairly small price tag compared to full-sized pickups of the time. To circumvent the 25% “chicken tax” on light trucks, Couriers (as with Chevrolet LUVs) were imported in “cab chassis” configurations, which included the entire light truck – less the cargo box or truck bed – and were only subject to a 4% tariff. Subsequently, a truck bed was attached to the chassis and the vehicle could be sold as a light truck. The body styling was effectively that of the related Mazda B-series; however, its front styling was unique in that the grille was designed to emulate the larger Ford F-series, and large single headlights instead of the B-series’ smaller twin units.
Cosmetically this truck is in decent shape. The body is straight and the paint is original. The climate here in northern California is very mild and typically cars are preserved and free of climate related deterioration like rust. However the air on the coast is moist and salty and typically coastal cars can see some rust. This Ford does have little spots of rust visible in the pictures simply from from the moist salty air of the coast. It is not rusted underneath like a vehicle from a place where they salt the roads and the spots can be patched relatively easy. Otherwise the paint and body are in great original shape. Like I said before the underside is solid and in good shape.
The interior is in great shape. The original seat and door panels have no rips or tears and very clean. The dash has no cracks and everything works. The headliner is also in great shape.
Mechanically this truck is in good working order. It starts and runs great and shifts into all 4 gears and reverse without problems. There are no leaks and all of the lights work. The engine bay is very clean and original a testament to how little this truck was used. |
