I was a milkman in 1980 (I started the morning round after my all-night taxi driver shift). It kept me fit, but the pay was too low to support my young family so I quit after 2 months. Nevertheless, I have fond memories of driving the electric milk-float, so I set this Elswick up with churns plus a money pouch, to turn it into a milkman's bike. I'm not sure how well it would steer with churns full of milk! It's in excellent original condition and would be a fine addition to any collection of tradesmen's bicycles or X Frames. Vintage, antique, collectable aircraft hangared in Columbia,SC
1939 Fairchild F24R9 aircraft, former Grand Champion aircraft at show. Award plaques are included. Nicely restored and well kept in hangar by collector. This aircraft was originally part of the Army Air Corp prior to WWII and served initially in Indonesia and the Philippines supporting executive aviation. This reportedly included flown by Dwight Eisenhower in support of General Douglas MacArthur. It is a historic aircraft with original documentation from the Army and all current logbooks. Recently the plane had a thorough annual inspection to prepare it for sale. The 1939 model year was fitted with the Fairchild Ranger Engine https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ranger_Engines
The engine (capable of 200hp) is rated at 175 hp and is an inverted inline six cylinder engine matched to a Hartzell propeller. Repair and parts manuals are included. This plane is for serious collectors and lovers of vintage aircraft.
The aircraft, serial R9-427, is one of 35 built in 1939 and believed to be one of the few licensed and airworthy aircraft available to be purchased. The cruise speed is approximately 125 mph. The aircraft will fit in a standard T-hangar.
The plane is outfitted with a RCA comm radio, an ELT, a Collins TDR-950 transponder and uses a portable GPS for navigation.
Airframe time reported as 628 hours and engine 595 since overhaul. |

$4500, located in Eureka Montana. This is a ’72 f100 4x4 Ranger. Original paint. The truck has been locally owned as far back as I can remember. It has the 360 in it with a 4-speed. It runs good. The motor runs smooth. No knocks or anything weird. It’s greasy and needs valve cover gaskets at least and maybe more. There is a low grinding noise when driving. It is worse when turning sharp. This does have a posi-trac rearend and that may be the problem. I have never had it on the highway. Not sure what the noise is but it will need to be addressed before driving very far. All gears work. The clutch is a little jumpy so maybe that is related to the low grinding noise. The steering box has a lot of slack and needs repaired/replaced. I have had this truck for years and I planned to put a ’78-79 style power steering in it so I didn’t really care about the steering box. The heater, wipers, lights and all that stuff works. Drivers side rear leaf spring is saggy. I was just going to replace both springs with 2 or 4” lift springs but never got to it. This truck does have some rust. I can send specifics if your interested. It’s not bad but it will need some rust repair. The wheels/tires in the pics are not included, sorry. I had them borrowed off a different rig and just hadn’t switched them back out. It comes with a different set of pretty nice aluminum wheels with good 31x10.50 bfg tires. The interior is ok. I’d use it as-is for a driver but it would need a seat cover or the seat recovered. I believe this is the original seat and it is the fancier cloth seat that must have been a ranger option. $4500 firm. I registered the truck and should have the new title back any day. |

I love this bike but the garage is quite full and I have a lot of projects to finish.
The Good:
- Good running bike. Does all the bike things (starts easily, idles charges, stops). All lights & horn work. Solid tires.
- Plugs, fluids and filters recently changed. Clutch and throttle cables changed. Oil pan gasket replace.
- Front master cylinder converted to handlebar type.
- OEM Zeuna exhaust in good shape.
- Front master cylinder converted to handlebar type.
- Clean New York title in my name

The Bad:
- While changing the tranny fluid, a small piece of a gear fell out. Pic attached. I will include a seal kit for the tranny. The neutral switch is leaking.
- The rear rim has the dreaded 1974-75 cracking issue. I will include a complete replacement rear wheel (with hub) with bearing kit, seals, rim strip and tube.
- The side covers are obviously not original.
- Speedo bounces a bit.

This is a very clean survivor Moto Guzzi Robin moped. As you can see, it's in very good condition and the only thing it needs is the left side crank seal. I looked for one but have not found one, but I didn't look real hard either. It has new rings and top-end gaskets and I have rode it some. The motor sounded good but ran lean even after cleaning the carburetor. That's why it needs the crank seal. My business is pretty busy and I just don't have the time to hunt down the part so I'm selling it as is. It WILL run and ride fine once you get the seal. This is a very cool vintage bike.

1966 Kawasaki W1 barn find, 100% original showing 4900 miles. Kicks over freely with great compression, oil is clean and full, and the inside of fuel tank is spotless. I bought it from the original owner with hopes of restoring it or at least getting it roadworthy. It was parked, in a heated back office of a warehouse many years ago and has not been ridden since, although it was fired up occasionally . The previous owner assured me that it was in perfect running condition when it was put away, he simply did not like the bike and switched to a Suzuki GT750 instead. Please note it has a clear title in my name, however the title says the bike is a 1969. This was common practice in Michigan to issue the title when the bike was sold and is inline with what the previous owner told me "I bought it new but it had sat in the dealer's showroom for a few years unsold". It is also listed on Ebay currently with a more detailed description. Thanks for looking. |

Adjustable Handlebars. 40″ Wheel with 2″ Pneumatic Rim.
The monocycle is the ancestor of the unicycle; early monocycles were often called unicycles. An interesting innovation on this monocycle, and no doubt useful for its trick rider, is the adjustable handlebar, which could fold forward, presumably allowing a greater range of tricks.
There is no saddle: the rider stands on the pedals.
RARE WHEEL: The wheel rim is a Westwood with a hole for the inner tube valve. Pneumatic tyres were made for these bicycles between 1891 and 1892. There are now few surviving examples of penny farthings that were fitted with pneumatic tyres. As it's now obviously impossible to find a 40 inch pneumatic tyre, this one is fitted with a cushion tyre. |

This c1885 Rudge ordinary (penny farthing) was adapted in the 1890s to be used as a performer's machine. You can ride is as a normal penny farthing or do tricks with it. It's also an excellent display piece for a museum.
PNEUMATIC WHEEL RIMS: The wheels have Westwood rims with holes for the inner tube valves. Pneumatic tyres and appropriate rims came onto the market in Britain in these sizes between 1891 and 1892. They were very expensive in the first few years of production, at least a quarter of the cost of a bicycle; so most purchasers opted for solid or cushion tyres. Pneumatics were lightweight, so ideal for racing, but not many pneumatic ordinaries were made for the general market, and there are now few survivors (believed less than ten known).
REAR DRIVING WHEEL: Both the front wheel and rear wheel are driven - observe the pedals - so a second acrobat could ride in tandem. When detached, each part of the machine can be ridden separately (requires athletic skills and practice). |

I purchased this Long John in 2007. The previous owner got it in 1992 from Copenhagen dockyards. The sign translates as MACHINE WORKSHOP. It's original and unrestored. It needs a weld at the bottom of the steering column (see relevant photo). The coaster brake needs pressing down firmly to activate it so it probably needs adjusting. The Long John rides well |
