Our Market Watch section is an online searchable database and it is smart phone friendly. It was set up as a database for vehicle price data; however we have added other collectibles as well. For example, under “Make” you can search for Paul McCartney for price data related to Paul McCartney collectibles. You can also use the database to see what celebrity ownership of a vehicle does to the value. For example, under “Model” search for Trans Am, click here to view the results. You can also search the Market Watch for famous/well know collections that have sold, for example, here is the data for the Bruce Weiner Microcar Auction. And here is the data for the Lee Roy Hartung collection that sold years ago. We have also included price data from TV shows such as Jay Lenos Garage, American Pickers, and others, simply search under “Make” for Jay Lenos Garage and click on search. The database allows you to compare asking price, book value, actual sale price, etc. You can also view offers versus sale price. Click here to view offers versus sale price. The database includes aircraft, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, collectibles, avionics, engines, car parts, aircraft parts, and more.

Series 98 Futuramic |

$2,000 |
A September 21 2019 Facebook post. My 16 year old son saved his money and bought this (hope I get this right) 1948 series 98 Futuramic deluxe club sedan for $2000. The owner had it and 30 some other old cars in a barn. My question is can anyone show me a picture or describe what the original keys look like? I can’t find anything on the internet. He believes he has them, but with all the cars he is trying to sell, he doesn’t recall what they look like. Also, we would appreciate any recommendations to car clubs that he and his dad may join or ask information from. So far we know the is the e in the Oldsmobile emblem from the trunk and the keys are missing. We do have the fender skirts, and it only has surface rust. ~ Thank you. Motorbike Engine |
1910 |
$2,250 |
A Feb 27 2017 post. I'm putting this antique Shaw motorbike engine out there for possible trade as I'm not sure what my ultimate plan is for it. Trade value around $2250. Those with serious interest please pm me and we can discuss further. I'd like to trade up or down on a bluebird frame, Robin, or other high end prewar ballooner project, in any condition. Other interests are in Motorcycle manufactured bikes, but mainly looking for a higher end prewar 26" as stated above. https://thecabe.com/forum/threads/sold-early-shaw-motor-for-sale-trade.106091/ |

Motorbike |
1912 |
$9,350 |
A January 2020 sale by Mecum. This fantastic 1912 Shaw is a rare all-Shaw autocycle with both the engine and frame manufactured at Stanley W. Shaw’s factory in Galesburg, Kansas. It shows the progress in the Shaw design from its earlier years, when the bolt-on fuel tank was merely a long cylinder and the engine fit only according to the size of the frame. With this purpose-built Shaw bicycle, the pedal crank assembly is integral with the bicycle crank, and the 240cc inlet-over-exhaust engine transmits power though the chain final drive. The frame is heavy-duty and built to withstand the power of the motor, which uses a magneto ignition and Shaw’s own carburetor. The engine produced 2.4 HP, which was good enough by 1912 to propel the machine to 40 MPH, which was really going, especially with just a single coaster brake on the rear wheel. Shaw sold its kits and whole motorcycles across the U.S. from 1903 to 1914, and was a very successful manufacturer of light machines. Shaw branched out to larger motorcycles in 1911 with the purchase of the Kokomo sidevalve motorcycle factory, but only around 240 of the Kokomo-Shaws were built, whereas the motor attachment and whole autocycle design sold in the thousands. Not many exist today though, making this beautiful 1912 Shaw a real rarity. See https://www.mecum.com/lots/LV0120-403738/1912-shaw-motorcycle/#_=_ |

MR2 Turbo |
1992 |
$20,000 |
Asking price posted on Facebook June 25 2021. FOR SALE OR TRADE!
I have a extra mint 1992 JDM RHD MR2 Turbo Model HARDTOP
White exterior
Black Interior
This car was imported from Japan years ago and is registered and titled in the USA. No hoops to jump through to get it transferred and legal in your name.
Only 54,252km (equal to 33,710 miles)
A few very tasteful mods:
Authentic Volk TE-37 Wheels (17")
Tein Coilover Kit
TCS Motorsports 85mm dual exhaust
Berk Technology Downpipe
AEM Tru boost electronic boost controller
AEM Digital Wideband kit
Momo Steering wheel w/ adapter hub
REV6 Low rise headlight kit
I posted this For sale, but I am also interested in hearing trade offers. In trade, i'm mainly looking for another VERY clean SW20 MR2 chassis (mainly white/black/SMG/tropical blue colors).
My intentions with this car were to build a nice turbocharged 2GR powered MR2. I haven't had the heart to really tear into such a nice low mileage car! I'm looking to possibly trade for an SW20 that is in VERY good condition exterior wise (great paint/great interior). I don't care much about what drivetrain is in the trade vehicle, as it will get replaced. Obviously there would need to be cash added on your end if you are trading me a car that is not worth roughly what my car is 🙂.
The outright sale price is $20,000 NOT $2,000 (facebook would not allow me to put $20,000) |

Seller’s Description:
Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this 1947 Ford Flatbed Pick up Truck! The truck appears to be mostly original and is wearing a fantastic color! The red really pops with all the black accents! Under the hood is Mr. Henry Fords Flathead V8 humming like a sewing machine and hooked to a manual transmission and a 2 speed rear end! When they say things are built like they used to this is the truck they refer to! According to our seller the dump bed does work but the chrome exhaust stack would need removed to regain that function. The condition of this truck is somewhere between a survivor and a driver. It appears to be solid and have a lot of life left to give! Here is something that is a prime candidate for a truck to enjoy as is or resto-mod to the next level! Seller’s Description:
This is an immaculately restored 1945 Chevrolet Dump Truck. Vehicle lived most of it's life in Wisconsin with one owner, who worked on it over about 20 years. Lettering on side indicates "No5" as it was the 5th vehicle done by the individual. Won many shows throughout the area. Purchased and stored now in Alabama. Engine starts great, runs great, and comes with a spare engine in the truck bed. Paint is in great shape, no rust on the underside. Gears shift well (as well as can be expected for a 1945 Chevy), and it's a blast to drive. Gets lots of looks, fantastic vehicle for shows, photo shoots, or setting the scene at an Americana Fall Festival or Holiday Event. Available for inspection anytime, and I have tons more photos I can share. Comes with a history book put together with interviews and photos of the people involved in the restoration; digital copy and hard copy. Send an inquiry for a link to the digital copy. Thank you!

1927 |
$60,000 |
From Bring A Trailer. May 9, 2017 —
$150K Restoration: 1927 Mack Model AB Dump Truck
This 1927 Mack Model AB has been restored to the tune of roughly $150,000 according to the seller, and though no receipts are mentioned, the truck does look very impressive throughout. Powered by a large flathead four with dual reduction geared chain drive to the dually rear axle, the truck also has a dump bed that sounds to have been fitted in-period–it’s tilted via a PTO drive, and electric starting is notable as well. Best of all, the truck still seems to work for its keep, or at least for cool photo demos–check out the fully loaded bed. Find it here on eBay in Ludlow, Massachusetts with a $60k BIN. Special thanks to BaT reader Josh H. for this submission. See https://bringatrailer.com/2017/05/09/150k-restoration-1927-mack-model-ab-dump-truck/ |

Hawk 289 Swapped: $4500 Studebaker Dump Truck
This 1952 Studebaker 2R16A dump truck sports a very long stake bed and looks cool in period-correct dark blue over deep red. $20,000 |
From Bring A Trailer. November 12, 2014.
1960 Mack B61 Dump Truck
This 1960 Mack B61 dump truck wears an older, good-looking restoration and is said to run well. A diesel mill turns a 5-speed box and 2-speed rear end, the seller noting that it will drive 62 MPH at 2,000 RPM—likely right at the top of the engine’s rev range. We’d like to see it put back to work, and judging by bed markings it looks as if it might have been hauling very recently. Find it here on Hemmings in Lake Wales, Florida for $20k/negotiable. A Dec 30 2021 reply to Harry Kraemer post in the Triumph Facebook group about the mid 1990s Triumph Trident 900 still in the crate. The post read: Interestingly a 75 Triumph trident , still in crate, sold for , l think 18 k in the last year or so. Subject to the same rubber rot etc, one would think, as the more modern version. The 900 91 model will never have the rarity value or kudos, but if well stored l would pay a good4k,, possibly a more |

1981 |
$20,600 |
SOLD FOR $20,600 ON 4/5/19 on Bring A Trailer. 1981 Honda CBX Supersport in Factory Crate. This 1981 Honda CBX 1000 was reportedly shipped to a vocational school when new, though it was never assembled and remains in the factory crate. It was featured on BaT in November 2018 and was previously sold described merely as a “1981 Honda Motorcycle.” The CBX was Honda’s top-of-the-line 2-wheel offering between 1978 and 1982, and this example comes from the first year of its only major redesign. Finished in Charcoal Grey with black and red accents, the bike came equipped from the factory with a full fairing, saddlebags, Pro-Link rear suspension, and internally-vented front discs. When assembled and running, power is provided by a 1,047cc DOHC inline-six paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The selling dealer acquired the bike last year, and it is now offered at no reserve with a clear Florida title. See https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1981-honda-cbx-1000cc/ |
