Has a rebuilt carburetor, new fuel lines and filter, new track from snorunner.com, new spark plug, new airfilter and new kill switch. I also cleaned the tank and made a custom/homemade track cover because the original was missing and hard to find. But this track cover is stronger than the original and seems to help stiffen the track frame. All lights work, brake works and idles well. I run 40-1 ethanol free gasoline. Ready to ride. Wish I could keep it but could use the space and money for my many other projects. Does have a couple cracks in the seat and right side decal is torn. Located in Easton,CT. March 18 2022. Tech tip seen on Facebook. I thought i would share a little snorunner hack with you all. What to do about the leaking, clunkly, and expensive fuel hose connection on the bottom of the tank? I took a 1/8"NPT to 1/4" inch barb fitting and a 1 1/2 inch piece of 1/4" od brass tubing. Total cost at my hardware store $4. Using a 1/4" drill bill bore out the inside of the pipe thread end on the fitting. After cleaning and applying flux, insert the brass, and solder. The downside is you loose the quick connect the feature. The good new , your wallet is heavier and you have an extra inch and a half of clearance for the air filter. |

1929 Alliance Argo. #8 of 20 ever made. This is the sole remaining aircraft.
The plane was completely rebuilt after being stored for nearly 50 years. 100% original with the exception of a tail-wheel. Templates were used from all the original wood parts and the entire plane as rebuilt with new aircraft spruce.
The Argo was one of the first planes to do an outside loops.
After importing the plane to Canada, it underwent a complete inspection and was given Transport Canada approval for its CofA.
The airplane has 995 hours TT on airframe, the engine was overhauled and has 6 hours TSOH
The engine is a 7 cylinder Hess Warrior radial. Also built by the Alliance Aircraft Company. The 1929 Standard Steel propeller is original and has ground adjustable pitch. All records from the FAA starting with its original owner and all its history. |

This Lomax car has been lovingly restored over the past 18 months and has had an extensive list of work done to it. Lomax cars are a British manufacturer, and these cars provide so much fun, are easy to maintain and this example is a real head turner. 2CV based kit car with the classic 602cc boxer engine. The 224 models were produced in far less numbers than the 223 (the 3-wheeler) so a really good opportunity to buy this one while you can.
New custom-made exhaust with side silencer and tailpipe exiting from the rear (very rare feature, as nearly all exit at the side) The 602cc up-graded engine was professionally re-built last month and now boasts a club camshaft and new cam followers, skimmed 9:1 barrels and piston conversion, lightened flywheel, polished and ported heads with double springs, new style Burton rocker covers, 123 Bluetooth electronic ignition, new fuel pump, new clutch, all seals and gaskets replaced, new oil pressure switch and new braided oil feed hoses. K&N air filter with sonic cleaned Solex carburettor with all new jets and gaskets.
Other new parts include alternator, Burton high performance coil and Bougicord HT leads. New electronic voltage stabiliser, fuse box and relays and battery. New metal fuel tank and sender unit, new locking fuel filler on boot plus all fuel hoses, rear brake pipes replaced and much more. 4 new Burton 4½ x 15 sports wheels with 4 new 135 MCC tyres. New P700 Tripod reproduction H4 headlights with chrome housings, all new side lights, rear brake lights, front, side, and rear indicators, third brake light on number plate plus new reversing lights and hazard warning lights. Windscreen wipers have been installed with new 2 speed motor and new mechanism with the motor mounted under the dashboard.
Inside, the car is exceptional, with new 13inch leather steering wheel, new Cobra Roadster heated seats, custom made boot area with locking door, centre console with storage tray, locking compartment, USB, 12V power and additional 12v socket, as well as the heated seat switches. The dashboard is fully custom made with beautiful new Smiths magnolia gauges and Smiths toggle switches to give an authentic “old time” appearance. Dashboard has a locking glovebox and is vinyl covered to match the door cards and boot door and surround. New carpets throughout, including the boot space. Interior lights in boot, behind the seats and under the dash.
New custom-made canopy roof, new tonneau cover and a new bag that holds both inside, sitting neatly on the top of the boot behind the seats. The bodywork will require some work but nothing that is going to be too difficult. Sound chassis and a perfect opportunity to acquire a unique car that brings so many smiles when you drive – both from the driver and on-lookers. This Lomax is MOT & road tax exempt and the V5 shows it as a Lomax 224. I am undertaking a new project so with sadness, I am selling the LOMAX. OFFERS OVER £8995.00 - it's worth it. |
