Our Market Watch section is an online searchable database and it is smart phone friendly. It was set up as a database for vehicle price data; however we have added other collectibles as well. For example, under “Make” you can search for Paul McCartney for price data related to Paul McCartney collectibles. You can also use the database to see what celebrity ownership of a vehicle does to the value. For example, under “Model” search for Trans Am, click here to view the results. You can also search the Market Watch for famous/well know collections that have sold, for example, here is the data for the Bruce Weiner Microcar Auction. And here is the data for the Lee Roy Hartung collection that sold years ago. Prices start at $500, and are mostly Navy/Marine post WW2 tanks. There are some other tanks available, but here is a list: 2 slightly damaged Navy tanks. 163”x30” each: $500 for the pair 1 green Navy/Marine tank, good condition, 163”x30”: $1000 Misc tanks that are slightly smaller starting at $500. These are A-10 Thunderbolt II ferry storage locker tanks. They’re 11’x17” wide. 8-10 total.

Belly Tank Belly Tank 1941 $2,495 An ebay buy it now price seen online November 15 2018. Type of aircraft it is from was unknown, year unknown. I believe this very aerodynamic tank to be from a WW II military airplane of some sort. This drop tank measures about 30 inches in diameter by about 124 inches long. If one places the attaching point that was originally at the top of this tank at the bottom, then the right side is in fairly good condition except for a few bullet exit holes. The other or left side sustained some serious damage when this tank hit the ground about 70 years ago. I believe the two halves of this tank may need to be separated in order to work out and repair that damage. There is a 1-1/4" internal pipe thread at the back of this tank that you can see in the photo that is a rear view. I have no idea what this threaded hole may have been used for originally.
