The FAA does not list a year for this model aircraft. By the Blue Book database it is a 1979.

From the owner - When Grumman stopped manufacturing planes, they had quite a lot of AA5Bs in a building. These planes were the last AA5Bs made. There was maybe a hundred or more. N4559A was one of those.

Same owner since 1983.

The plane has been hangered for the past 10 years – Wyoming, Linden NJ, Buffalo NY, and now KGAI.
