It also means that the flight instructor<br \/>\napplicant\u2019s discussions, explanations, and descriptions should follow<br \/>\nthe recommended teaching procedures and techniques explained in<br \/>\nFAA-H-8083-9, Aviation Instructor\u2019s Handbook.<\/p>\n<p>Area of Operation XI: Slow Flight, Stalls, and Spins, contains Tasks referred to as \u201cproficiency\u201d and \u201cdemonstration.\u201d The intent of Tasks B and C for single engine (<em><strong>proficiency<\/strong><\/em>) is to ensure that the flight instructor applicant is tested on proficiency for the purpose of teaching students these Tasks that are required for pilot certification. The intent of Tasks D, E, F, and H<br \/>\n(<strong><em>demonstration<\/em><\/strong>) for single-engine and Task D for multiengine is to ensure that the flight instructor applicant is knowledgeable and proficient in these maneuvers and can teach them to students for both familiarization and stall\/spin awareness purposes.<\/p>\n<p>Areas of Operation:<br \/>\n<strong>I. Fundamentals of Instructing<em>\u00a0(The examiner shall select Task E and one other Task)<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\nTask A: Human Behavior and Effective Communication<\/p>\n<p>Task B: The Learning Process<\/p>\n<p>Task C: The Teaching Process<\/p>\n<p>Task D: Assessment and Critique<\/p>\n<p>Task E: Instructor Responsibilities and Professionalism:\u00a0 Student pilot certificate process,<\/p>\n<p>Task F: Techniques of Flight Instruction<\/p>\n<p>Task G: Risk Management<\/p>\n<p><strong>II. Technical Subject Areas <em>(The examiner must select Tasks B, M, and at least one other Task)<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\nTask A: Aeromedical Factors<\/p>\n<p>Task B: Runway Incursion Avoidance<\/p>\n<p>Task C: Visual Scanning and Collision Avoidance<\/p>\n<p>Task D: Principles of Flight<\/p>\n<p>Task E: Airplane Flight Controls<\/p>\n<p>Task F: Airplane Weight and Balance<\/p>\n<p>Task G: Navigation and Flight Planning<\/p>\n<p>Task H: Night Operations<\/p>\n<p>Task I: High Altitude Operations<\/p>\n<p>Task J: 14 CFR and Publications<\/p>\n<p>Task K: National Airspace System<\/p>\n<p>Task L: Navigation Systems and Radar Services<\/p>\n<p>Task M: Logbook Entries and Certificate Endorsements &#8212; <em><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Go over <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Eligibility Exercises in employee area under Flight Training<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>III. Preflight Lesson on a Maneuver to be Performed in Flight<\/strong><br \/>\nTask A: Maneuver Lesson<\/p>\n<p>Now we will take a look at some FAA videos and discuss if the student\/applicant did the maneuver correctly (<em>Employee Area, Flight Training, Flight Instructors<\/em>)<\/p>\n<p><strong>V.
