Conduct flight test according to the Practical Test Standards<\/p>\n<p>3.\tNo instruction<\/p>\n<p>4.\tNo second chance when maneuver is unsatisfactory<br \/>\n5.\tContinue testing if maneuver is incomplete or you need more information to make a decision<\/p>\n<p>6.\tUnsatisfactory performance<br \/>\n\u2022\tExceeding aircraft limitations<br \/>\n\u2022\tExaminer intervention<br \/>\n\u2022\tInappropriate emergency procedures<br \/>\n\u2022\tOutcome of the maneuver being seriously in doubt<br \/>\n\u2022\tPoor judgment<br \/>\n\u2022\tNot within approved standards<br \/>\n\u2022\tFailure to apply aeronautical knowledge<br \/>\n\u2022\tNot being the master of the aircraft<br \/>\n\u2022\tConsistently exceeding tolerances stated in the objective<br \/>\n\u2022\tFailure to take prompt corrective action when tolerances are exceeded<\/p>\n<p>7.\tUse realistic distractions during the flight<\/p>\n<p>8.\tDid the applicant meet the objective of the task?<br \/>\nP Did the applicant complete the procedure described?<br \/>\nT Did the applicant perform the maneuver within the tolerances?<br \/>\nS Did the applicant meet all safety considerations?<\/p>\n<p>If you can answer YES to each of these questions without reservation, the applicant has satisfactorily completed the task.<\/p>\n<p>EMPHASIS AREAS: As a result of studies into the cause factors of incidents, accident, and violations, it is imperative that pilot examiners give special consideration and exercise their most conservative judgment in evaluating the applicant\u2019s knowledge of the following area:<\/p>\n<p>1.\tPreflight<br \/>\n\u2022\tAircraft manuals and documentation<br \/>\n\u2022\tPilot medical certificates<br \/>\n\u2022\tWeather<br \/>\n\u2022\tAirport area and surroundings<\/p>\n<p>2.\tPreflight inspections<br \/>\n\u2022\tLanding gear<br \/>\n\u2022\tEngine(s)<br \/>\n\u2022\tAdequacy of fuel supply<br \/>\n\u2022\tATC communications and airspace considerations<\/p>\n<p>3.\tClearances<br \/>\n\u2022\tInstructions<br \/>\n\u2022\tOperations to\/from\/within\/near Class A, B, C, D, and E airspace<\/p>\n<p>4.\tProper use of the flight controls\/brakes on the ground<\/p>\n<p>5.\tLanding flare<\/p>\n<p>6.\tAvoidance of objects in the air and on the ground<br \/>\n7.\tMaintenance of adequate flying speed<\/p>\n<p>8.\tOperations to\/from\/on suitable terrain for T\/O, Apch, &amp; Ldg Configuration &amp; Procedure<\/p>\n<p>9.\tObservance of minimum safe altitudes \u2013 congested and noncongested areas<\/p>\n<p>10.\tUse of stabilized approach\/flight path procedures<\/p>\n<p>11.\tForced landings<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FLIGHT TEST DPE- Do not ask questions during preflight 1.
