Twas the night before Christmas,
\nAnd all through the shop,
\nNothing was stirring, not even the mop.<\/p>\n
The stockings were hung over the workbench with care,
\nIn hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there.<\/p>\n
The tools were all clean and snug in their beds,
\nWhile visions of ‘Made in USA’ and ‘chrome vanadium steel’ Danced in their heads.<\/p>\n
When all of a sudden there came a strange roar.
\nA souped-up red snow mobile, ported and stroked
\nWith a custom bore.<\/p>\n
And driven by no ordinary elf –
\nThis was the real deal – St. Nicholas himself!<\/p>\n
He materialized in the shop, saw the stockings.
\nAnd hopped up on the bench.
\nFilled them with sockets, Channel Locks,
\nAnd a shiny new torque wrench.<\/p>\n
Then back to his snow mobile, idling like a Harley.<\/p>\n
And I heard him say as he motored out of sight:
\n“Good tools are like good friends, so treat them right.
