The starting bid was $649.00 - so far it has 0 bids. Pre-owned, has some wear. Trike fully functions, all components are original. The rear wheels have some wear on the treads but is not worn through. There are some surface scratches (wear and tear) throughout the trike. Some of the decals have scratches or mild peeling. There is minimal pitting (rust) on the chrome components. The trike was used in the late 1970s and stored inside. It has only been wiped down for the photos. Evel Knievel Stratocycle 1976 $200,000 An ebay buy it now price seen online Jan 10 2018. Beyond Rare !! The only Evel Knievel Film used motorcycle in existence. Evel Knievel screen used Harley-Davidson XLCH 1000 Eagle “Stratocycle” from Viva Knievel! (Warner Bros., 1977) The motorcycle, custom built by Bud Ekins on a modified 1976 Harley XLCH It features a futuristic fiberglass fairing with integral wings, custom exhaust ports, and sports a red, white and blue eagle-motif paint scheme. Ridden by Evel Knievel in the Movie . Its unique and dramatic appearance prompted a toy version of the Stratocycle to be made by Ideal Toy Company (the most valuable and collectable of all Evel Knievel toys). The provenance of this motorcycle is exceptional: it comes with original California registration card issued for (VIN# 4A20750H6) from “AMF Harley Davidson MTR Co.” to “Warner Bros. Inc.” and an original invoice from Harley-Davidson Motor Co., Inc., dated 8-14-78, selling the motorcycle following the production to “Rich Budelier Company” (the Los Angeles Harley dealership which provided the motorcycles for the film). Again, This is the only known film-used, motorcycle by Evel Knievel and is worthy of inclusion in the finest collections of Motorcycles and Americana.
Evel Knievel Drogue Chute Hatch 1974 $1,000,000 An ebay buy it now price seen online April 16 2017. Drogue Chute Hatch from Evel Knievels X-2 SkyCycle!! In 1974, daredevil Evel Knievel performed a jump over the Snake River Canyon in Idaho. The vehicle he used for this jump was called the X2 Skycycle, a revolutionary vehicle that can best be described as a ‘rocket-cycle.\' Designed and manufactured by Bob Truax. Tragedy struck for the vehicle when the jump didn’t go as expected. The parachute deployed before the rocket left the launch ramp,causing the rocket to go straight up and then plummeted straight down into the canon. As a result, Knievel was recovered from the crash without any significant injuries. Spectators, worried about Knievel, rushed to the launch area, breaking down the chain link fence that had previously served as a barrier. As the riot ensued, one person decided not to follow the crowd, his focus was on something else. The drogue chute hatch that had separated from the vehicle. He went to retrieve it, going completely unnoticed by everyone in the area. Thirty six years later, Scott Truax, son of the rocket’s designer, determined that the drogue chute hatch was indeed from the X-2 Sky-Cycle. He signed a letter of authenticity to verify this fact. Additionally, he also confirmed that it was the failed hatch that caused the rocket to malfunction. This is important, because previously people believed the jump failed because of electrical problems. Even Knievel didn’t know the truth.

Evel Knievel Stratocycle 1970 $200,000 ebay auction that ended Oct 1 2015. Starting bid was $200,000.00 - it got 0 bids. Auction estimate seen online Sept 29 2015 was for between $200,000 to $300,000 USD. The Stratocycle will be offered for auction for the first time in modern memory on October 1, 2015. It’s the only known film-based, stunt-ridden motorcycle used by Evel Knievel to reach the auction block—and its likely to lead to enthusiastic bidding. The value is estimated to be between $200,000 and $300,000, but it could easily go for much more if the right people are in the room, and online, on the day for the live auction. The Stratocycle is used by Evel to crash into a lunatic asylum in order to free his longtime friend and mechanic, played by Gene Kelly. After filming had wrapped the Stratocycle was sold to Tom Bolfert, Harley Davidsons head of archives, for just $500. Throughout the late-1970s, a toy version of the Stratocycle was sold by the Ideal Toy Company. This model version could be sent flying through the air from its dedicated launcher and today it’s one of the rarest and most highly sought after toys from the Knievel line. Before presenting the bike for sale, the Plexiglas windscreen, alloy wheels, and tires were replaced—to ensure that it was indistinguishable from its original onscreen appearance. It’s not known who specified that the Stratocycle be based on a Harley-Davidson XLCH 1000, although it’s possible that Knievel himself had a hand in it. The XLCH was one of the more expensive motorcycles in the Sportster line due to its significantly increased performance over the stock XL model. In Harley-Davidson code, the XL indicates a Sportster and the CH suffix means that its been stripped to save weight and fitted with a high compression, higher horsepower engine. The ebay listing was removed before Harry could see what it sold for, if it sold. Located in Germany. An amazing opportunity for collectors of special classic cars... a collector car from the pre-owner Evel Knievel, the stunt-legend. In the early 80s Evel Knievels race car has been imported from Florida (USA) to Western Germany, since that time its like fallen of the face of the earth. For more than 30 years it has been included in a premium private collection of special cars. Because of the owners death the collection is now dissolved, some automotive treasures have been rediscovered. Engine identifications: Head-number: 1486250 (Cadillac), Block-number: 1495200 (Cadillac), Transmission: Hydra-Matic. The airbrush-paintwork was made in the 70s by Trick Paint Custom Shop (Cayton, 100 miles away from Indianapolis). Evel Knievel had his airbrush added on afterwards in 1978 by S.Wright. The paintwork shows a nice patina, because of the age with some dents and cracks. Being in the collection since the early 80s, the vehicle has not been on the road again. If a commissioning will be possible has not been checked.
